About Byoungsung Son

Byoungsung Son is a South Korean artist and designer with a lifelong fascination for nature, gardens, and flowers.

He studied Floral Design in South Korea before earning a BA (Hons) in Professional Floristry in the United Kingdom, graduating with First-Class Honours. He subsequently completed an MA in Art and Design and further developed his practice by working with renowned floral artists in London.

After moving to Amsterdam in 2018, he founded FlowerLovesMe, an independent floral atelier in the heart of the city's historic centre.

Inspired by nature, his surroundings, and diverse cultural and design influences, Byoungsung creates floral compositions that express his artistic sensibility. Whenever possible, he works with locally grown, seasonal flowers.
